Financial Assistance Program
The Puslinch Minor Soccer Club (PMSC) is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington to provide financial assistance which removes the financial barriers for participation in soccer. The Children's Foundation provides a private screening process for parents and/or legal guardians of youth looking to participate in Puslinch Minor Soccer's programs. The appropriate documents required for application can be found at http://www.childrensfoundation.org/applying-for-funding. A printed copy can also be obtained from the Foundation or PMSC
All summer programs are currently eligible for this assistance. The PMSC will waive 50 % of the registration fees and the The Township of Puslinch will waive their User Fee's for those who are eligible for the program. Please note that when applying for financial assistance to the Youth Rep Program, only the Club's registration fee is available for application. Additional fee's that may be payable to the team, off season league entry, and/or equipment are not eligible for assistance through this program.
Funding Process
- Complete registration form
- Notify Registrar that you will be seeking financial assistance from Puslinch Minor Soccer Club/The Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington.
- Registrar will automatically hold a spot in the requested program, and will be of "pending" status while awaiting funding.
- Complete Grant Application form and apply to the Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington
- The Children's Foundation will communicate the assessed amount of assistance to both the applicant and to PMSC. If you have not heard within 15 days of your application, please contact the Children's Foundation directly to ensure that they have receive the required documents
- PMSC will request any residual amount from the parent/legal guardian of the registered player.
- This amount must be received within 14 days of your approval. If payment has not been received, your child may be pulled from the pending status if further payment arrangements have not been made. Once the residual amount has been paid, PMSC will then confirm the program spot.
Additional Notes
Please note that applications for funding should be submitted to the Children's Foundation within 7 days of registering with PMSC. Available funding is limited. PMSC strongly encourages those who are seeking to benefit from the assistance program, to complete the application process as early as possible. The screening process can take up to 10 business days from point of application submission. For any reason that an application for funding is received after the close date of registration to the club's programs, your child may not be able to participate that session.
